Meet the Teacher 

Hi! My name is Lindsay. I am a third grade teacher in Middletown, NJ. This is my second year teaching third and before that I taught for three years in fourth. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful four year old daughter named Sara. I met my husband eleven years ago when we worked together at our local Outback. There were so many memories of that time period in our lives, both good and bad, but I feel that it made us the unbreakable couple we are today and I wouldn't trade that for a moment. We got married in 2009 on a golf course (my husbands choice) and a year later we had Sara. She has brought so much joy into our lives...it's an amazing feeling. We also have a fur baby, Peanut, a tan and white Shitzhu. 

I am very family orientated, which lucky for us both of our parents live within ten minutes from us. I love spending time with family, even when I want to just shake them :) My sister works for Disney and I love being able to take girl trips to go visit her and use her perks :) I miss her terribly but I am so proud of her living on her own and doing what she loves. It is just my sister and I. 

 THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

Scrapbooking, running, being on the beach with a book in my hand, traveling with my hubby and my daughter, family time, getting pedicures and crafting on a very simple level

I always thought I'd be a veterninarian. I love animals, especially dolphins and marine life so something in that realm.

 Q:YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER. WHAT IS IT?

 

 The ability to fly. I love traveling and especially going of islands with beautiful beaches, so flying would work out great for me. 

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING?

I have a lot but I would go with a lyric from my wedding song," If I could have one dance forever, I would take you by the hand, Tonight it's you and I together..." 

 

Q: IF YOU HAD TO SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE? 

Girls just want to have fun....something about that song always brings a smile to my face! 

  

 Q: ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL?

Definitely a morning person. I feel so accomplished when I get up in the morning and get things done...even if it is only laundry or dishes :) 

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?

I don't have a TPT store. Hopefully one day!

I have gone skydiving and loved every moment of it that I would do it again!
